Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and HarumAI (“we”) about the website harum.ai, the download site download.harumai.com, HarumAI accounts and the online services the HarumAI app uses (together, “the Services”). The HarumAI app itself is licensed under the HarumAI License Terms. By using the Services you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services.

Your account

You need a HarumAI account to use the app. Give accurate details, keep your sign in secure, and tell us at support@harum.ai if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you are under 18, use the Services only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Price

The HarumAI app is free of charge. Model usage is billed by the provider whose key you use, under that provider’s own prices. If we ever offer paid plans or features, we will show their price and terms before you can buy them.

Your model provider keys

You connect model providers with your own keys. You must have the right to use each key, and your use of each provider is governed by that provider’s terms, policies and prices, not by us. We are not responsible for a provider’s service, its output, its charges, or what it does with what you send it.

Your content

Your projects, files, conversations and anything you create with HarumAI remain yours. You give us only the permission we need to store, process and send that content in order to run the Services for you, for example to keep your Cloud conversations or pass a request to the provider you chose. We do not use your content to train models.

AI output can be wrong, incomplete or unsafe. Review what the agent proposes, especially commands and changes to code, before you rely on it. You decide which actions the agent may take, and you are responsible for the results.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Services to:

break the law or the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
plan, help or carry out a crime, fraud, scam, phishing or identity theft;
create or spread malware, or attack, probe, break into or overload any system without its owner’s permission;
watch, track or collect data about people without a lawful basis, or harass, threaten or impersonate anyone;
make or spread content that deceives people about who made it or what is real, such as forged documents;
develop weapons, or anything meant to cause serious harm to people, property or critical infrastructure;
get around usage limits, account checks, signature checks, the agent’s approval steps or other protections;
break the terms or policies of the model providers you connect;
share your account or resell access to the Services;
send content that exploits children or that the law forbids;
break export control or sanctions laws.

These rules also cover anything you build, generate, publish or distribute with HarumAI. We may look into a suspected breach, remove content, and suspend or end access, without notice when the breach is serious or illegal or puts the Services or other people at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why.

Your responsibility

HarumAI is a tool. It carries out the actions you allow, on your own devices and accounts, with the models and keys you choose. We do not direct, review or control what you build, run, publish or distribute with it, and we do not endorse it. You alone are responsible for that work, for checking it before you rely on it or release it, and for making sure it and its use follow the law and the rights of others. Keep your own backups before you let the agent change files or run commands.

Do not rely on AI output alone for decisions where a mistake could seriously harm someone, such as medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. A qualified person must review them.

Losses you cause

We are not responsible for loss or damage that comes from your own actions, choices or neglect when you use HarumAI, including:

actions you approve or allow, including commands the agent runs and changes it makes after you approve them, or without asking when you turn on Full Access or another automatic approval;
settings you change that lower a protection, such as turning off approvals, widening the sandbox or the network allowlist, or running a command outside the sandbox;
Autonomous Loops and other runs you set up to work while you are away, and what they do and cost within the limits you set;
charges from the model providers whose keys you use, including usage you did not expect;
keys, passwords or devices you share, lose or do not keep secure, and what then happens in your account;
files you did not back up, and changes you accepted without checking them;
warnings you ignore, such as a security card, an approval card or a download confirmation;
copies of HarumAI from anywhere other than harum.ai or download.harumai.com, or a copy someone has changed;
Beta, Alpha and Test builds, which are offered for trying new features and may be unstable;
content you publish or share, and what other people do with it.

Where a loss is partly caused by you, we are responsible at most for our own share, within the limits in “Limitation of liability”. This section does not limit liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless us and the people who work with us from any claim, loss, damage, fine or cost, including reasonable legal fees, that arises from your use of the Services, from what you build, run, publish or distribute with HarumAI, or from your breach of these terms or of the law.

Cooperation with authorities

We respond to lawful requests from authorities. We may keep and share information about an account, its content and its activity when the law requires it, or when we believe in good faith that it is needed to prevent a crime, protect someone from harm, or protect the Services, our users or us. We may report illegal content, such as material that exploits children, to the authorities.

Published pages

If you publish an artifact, its link is public: anyone who has it can open the page. Publish only what you have the right to share, and unpublish it when you no longer want it seen. We may take down a published page that breaks these terms.

Storage limits

Cloud storage for artifacts and published pages has a limit set by your plan. When it is full, new items are kept on your device instead.

Trademarks and copyright

HarumAI is our registered trademark. The HarumAI logo is our trademark, and the HarumAI IDE software, its design and its documentation are protected by copyright. Neither these terms nor the HarumAI License Terms give you any right to the HarumAI name or logo, except the limited use the press kit allows: to refer to HarumAI, to show that your product works with HarumAI, and in talks about HarumAI. Every such use must include a link to the original HarumAI at harum.ai. Do not use the name or logo in your own product, company, domain or account names, suggest that we sponsor or endorse you, or change the logo. Any other use needs our written permission.

Changes to the Services

We may add, change or remove features, and we may end a Service. If a change takes away something important you rely on, we will try to tell you in advance.

No warranty

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from the Services or their use, even if told such damages were possible. Our total liability for all claims about the Services is limited to the greater of what you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim, or IDR 1,000,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Ending

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access, and these terms, if you break them, if the law requires it, or if your use puts the Services or other people at risk. Sections that by their nature should last, such as those on liability, continue after the end.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking to us first, it goes to the courts of Indonesia, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

The agreement as a whole

These terms are made in Indonesian and English; if the two differ, the Indonesian version prevails. Together with the HarumAI License Terms and the Privacy Policy, they are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services. If a part cannot be enforced, the rest still applies, and not enforcing a part straight away does not waive it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganization or a sale of the business. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will publish the new version here with a new date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they apply. Using the Services after that means you accept the new terms.
