Installation
System requirements, checking the installer's SHA-256, the SmartScreen prompt, updates and removal.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64 bit (x64).
- An internet connection to sign in and to reach your model provider.
- Your own API key for at least one supported model provider.
A macOS or Linux app is not available yet. From Windows, HarumAI can work on projects in a WSL distribution or on another machine over SSH.
Download and check the file
Download HarumAI only from harum.ai or download.harumai.com. The download section shows the current version, its size and its SHA-256. To confirm the file you got is exactly the one HarumAI released, open PowerShell in the folder where you saved it and run:
Get-FileHash .\HarumAI-installer.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Use the real file name. The result must match the SHA-256 on the download page, character for character. If it does not, delete the file and download it again.
The SmartScreen prompt
The installer is not code signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show “Windows protected your PC”. After checking the SHA-256, choose More info, then Run anyway.
Updates
HarumAI checks for updates on its own. A new version downloads in the background and a card in the app tells you when it is ready to install. Every update is signed with HarumAI’s release key and checked before it is installed.
Removing HarumAI
Uninstall HarumAI from Windows Settings, Apps. Your projects are never touched. Your Cloud conversations stay with your account until you delete them.
